Equipment

Ingredients

  • 16 oz frozen edamame
  • 2 Tablespoons avocado oil (or canola oil, vegetable oil, etc.)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Add the frozen edamame to a large bowl. Add oil and red pepper flakes and toss until edamame is coated in oil.
  • Add edamame to the air fryer. Air fry for 6 minutes at 400 degrees F. Shake, then air fry for another 6 minutes.
  • Remove edamame from the air fryer. Serve with a sprinkle of salt and fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Toss edamame halfway through cooking to make sure the edamame cooks evenly.
  • For less spice, add less red pepper flakes or leave them out altogether.
  • If using fresh edamame and not frozen, shorten the cooking time by a few minutes and check frequently for doneness.
