Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Place 2 tortillas on top of each other so that you can cut out your Halloween shape.
  • Cut out the outline of your shape using a sharp knife or cookie cutters.
  • If making a jack o'lantern, cut out the face. on one of the tortillas.
  • Arrange your cheese so that the bottom tortilla is mostly covered and as the cheese melts, it will properly cover the tortilla.
  • Place the top tortilla on the cheese.
  • Add the uncooked quesadillas to the air fryer basket. Place something on top to hold the top tortilla in place.
  • Air fry for 3-5 minutes at 380 degrees F, then remove from the air fryer and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can either cut the quesadillas into shapes using a sharp knife (like I did), or if you're making smaller quesadillas, a cookie cutter works perfectly!
  • Definitely use something to weigh down your top tortilla in the air fryer so it doesn't fly off! Something that is heat-safe for the air fryer. I used a rack from my Instant Pot.
  • I didn't spray my quesadillas with cooking spray or brush them with oil. However, if you are wanting a crispier quesadilla, you can use oil.
