Ingredients

  • 6 oz salmon fillet
  • teaspoon smoked paprika
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon peri peri sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1.5 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Remove skin if needed. Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, a sprinkling of salt, and a sprinkling of pepper.
  • In a small bowl, combine the peri peri sauce and honey.
  • In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until hot. Add the salmon to the skillet. Cook 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove salmon.
  • Turn heat to medium-low and add the peri peri sauce mixture. Cook, stirring frequently for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Plate the salmon and serve the sauce on top.

Notes

  • Actual cook time may depend on thickness of your salmon and how well you like your salmon cooked.
  • Watch the sauce carefully to make sure honey doesn't burn in the skillet.
  • Spice levels may vary based on the type of peri peri sauce you choose to use.
