Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed seedless watermelon cold or frozen if possible
  • cup cucumber peeled and cubed
  • sprinkle of salt
  • sparkling water

Instructions

  • Add the watermelon, cucumber, and a sprinkle of salt to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Add a few ice cubes to a glass, and pour the watermelon-cucumber mixture over the ice. Top with sparkling water.

Notes

  • Try to find a seedless watermelon if you can. You don't want to have to try to remove the black seeds before blending.
  • Peel your cucumber. This helps the drink remain smooth and refreshing.
  • To help your drink be even cooler on those hot days, chill your cucumber and watermelon a bit before blending, and make sure your sparkling water is cold.
