Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ Tablespoon butter
  • whipped cream/topping optional
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Peel bananas and slice into pieces 1 inch long.
  • Add the bananas slices to the air fryer basket (using air fryer parchment paper in the air fryer, if desired).
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar cinnamon mixture on top of the banana slices. Add a small pat of butter to each banana slice.
  • Air fry for 6-7 minutes at 380 degrees F.
  • Let cool, then remove from the air fryer. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • This recipe works best with yellow bananas, not ripe bananas
  • If you are adding whipped cream/topping or ice cream to the caramelized bananas, it's best to let the bananas cool a bit before adding any cream, otherwise the cream will melt.
  • All air fryers cook differently! Make sure to keep an eye on your bananas to ensure they are cooked to your liking.

Note: nutrition information provided is per piece of banana and does not include the optional whipped topping or sprinkles.
