Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple frozen
  • ½ banana frozen
  • cup blueberries frozen
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon blue spirulina

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth, then transfer to a tall glass and enjoy.

Notes

  • While it can be tempting to add more blue spirulina to your smoothie to intensify the blue flavor, only 1 teaspoon (or 4 grams) of spirulina is recommended daily.
  • Unless you have a high-speed blender, smoothies can be hard to blend. If needed, stop the blender, mix with a spoon (and add more liquid if needed), then continue blending.
