Garlic French Fries with Parsley

These oven-baked garlic french fries are so crispy and delicious! They are topped with fresh garlic and parsley for a savory, delicious side.

Ingredients

  • 2 russet potatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F.
  • Take the russet potatoes and wash and scrub them. Cut lengthwise into ½ inch by ½ inch pieces.
  • Toss the cut fries in a large bowl with olive oil and a sprinkling of salt and pepper.
  • Take a baking sheet and line with foil. Spread the potatoes out in a single layer onto the foil.
  • Cook the potatoes in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove, then flip the fries.
  • Turn the oven up to 525 degrees F. Return the fries to the oven and cook for another 5 minutes, or until cooked through and tender.
  • Place the fries in a bowl and immediately toss with the minced garlic and chopped parsley (and extra olive oil, if desired). Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Notes

Savory Dipping Ketchup
Ingredients:
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate until needed.
