Air Fryer Shishito Peppers are a delicious easy appetizer. The shishito peppers get perfectly blistered in the air fryer. Serve these with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces shishito peppers
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • sea salt
  • sesame seeds optional

Instructions

  • Wash and dry shishito peppers. Place in a large bowl.
  • Add oil to the bowl and toss to combine.
  • Place shishito peppers in air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Serve immediately. Plate, then season with sea salt and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • All air fryers cook differently. Check around the 6 minute mark to see if peppers are done to your liking.
  • These shishito peppers are best eaten immediately. They do not reheat well, as they become mushy.
  • Toss the shishito peppers halfway through cooking to make sure they are cooked evenly.
