Virgin Strawberry Mojito Mocktail

Virgin strawberry mojito mocktails are a tasty way to enjoy summer strawberries in a nonalcoholic drink.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 6 strawberries
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ice
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • 6 leaves mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Remove the stem from each strawberry and slice into four pieces.
  • Into two glasses, divide your strawberry pieces. Add the mint (5 leaves per glass). Squeeze ½ a lime into each glass, then add ½ teaspoon of honey. Muddle together until it strawberry is almost in puree form.
  • Add ice to each glass, then top with sparkling water. Stir the drink to combine ingredients.
  • Top with a sprig of mint, if desired.

Notes

Tips:

  • This recipe will either make enough for two small glasses (lowball size) or one tall glass (highball size). All the photos in this recipe show two small glasses.
  • You will need to muddle the strawberries, mint, etc. in this recipe. We highly suggest a cocktail muddler for this, as it does a fantastic job. If you don't have one, you can also use the end part of a wooden spoon or another utensil that might do a similar job.
  • The recipe for this drink is for a lightly sweetened mojito to keep it on the healthier side. If you want a little more sweetness, you can double the amount of honey.
