Air fryer apple cobbler is a delicious and easy air fryer dessert. The apples get perfectly cooked in the air fryer, and the cobbler topping is delicious.
2applesdiced into ½ inch cubes (and peeled, if desired)
1Tablespoonbrown sugar
½teaspoonflour
½teaspoonvanilla extract
¼teaspoonground cinnamon
For cobbler topping
2Tablespoonsbutter
¼cupflourall-purpose
2Tablespoonssugargranulated
¼teaspoonbaking powder
Instructions
In a medium bowl, melt butter. Add diced apples, brown sugar, ½ teaspoon flour, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
Divide mixture between two small ramekins. Place ramekins in air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
While apples cook, make cobbler topping by melting 2 Tablespoons butter in a medium bowl and adding sugar, baking powder, and ¼ cup flour. Stir to combine.
When apples are done cooking, add cobbler topping to the top of the apple mixture, evenly dividing between the two ramekins.
Cook for an additional 6-7 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes, then enjoy.
Notes
You can peel the apples or leave them unpeeled. It's up to you and how you want your apples. Most people will probably prefer to peel them.
Watch carefully after adding the cobbler topping. You want it nicely browned, but not burned.
This recipe serves two, but is easy to double if serving four.
Adjust cooking times as needed. All air fryers cook differently.
