Air fryer brussels sprouts are a delicious side dish that can be seasoned in so many ways. The air fryer roasts the brussels sprouts so the outside gets perfectly crispy.
Boil water to cover brussels sprouts. Slice brussels sprouts in half and add to a large bowl. (For large sprouts, slice into quarters).
Pour the water over the sprouts and let sit for 10 minutes.
After 5 minutes of soaking the sprouts, preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees.
Drain and dry the brussels sprouts. Wipe any water out of the bowl. Return the brussels sprouts to the bowl and add olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat.
Add brussels sprouts to the air fryer and air fry for 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees F, shaking a few times during cooking. Test, and air fry an additional 1-3 minutes if needed.
Plate and enjoy.

Recipe tips:
Soaking the brussels sprouts in hot water for 10 minutes will allow the centers to become more tender when air frying, otherwise the interior stems will be harder.
Drying the brussels sprouts after soaking will allow the oil and seasonings to stick to the brussels sprouts, otherwise they may not roast properly.
If you have larger brussels sprouts, slice into quarters instead of halves.
I've included simple seasonings here, but you can customize this recipe in so many ways!
Cook time may depend on your air fryer and size of your brussels sprouts.
