Soak your chicken skewers in water. (You will need 4-6 chicken skewers, so soak at least 6).
To a large bowl, add seasonings, lemon zest and juice from half a lemon, yogurt, and olive oil. Stir to combine.
Cut chicken into 1.5 inch cubes and add to the marinade. Stir to combine. Let marinade for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. While air fryer preheats, add chicken to the skewers, fitting as many pieces as you want on each skewer. I like to leave a little room at the top and bottom for holding/flipping.
Add skewers to the air fryer in a single layer. Cook at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 8 minutes. Remove and enjoy.
Notes
This recipe can serve 2 or more depending on how many skewers you want to serve per person.
All air fryers cook differently. Adjust cook time if needed.
Don't skip the step on soaking the skewers! This will keep them from burning in the air fryer.
Make sure you get wooden skewers that will fit in your air fryer.
