Air fryer gnocchi gets crispy on the outside and stay pillowy soft on the inside. This air fried gnocchi is so easy to make with shelf stable gnocchi that you can keep in your pantry.
Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes. Add the gnocchi to a large bowl. Add the olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, a pinch of salt and pepper to the bowl and toss to combine.
Add the gnocchi to the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes, shaking a few times during cooking.
Remove from the air fryer and serve as desired. I suggest freshly grated parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and a dipping sauce.
Notes
All air fryers cook differently. Check frequently for doneness. However, do not overcook, as the gnocchi will become tough. You want them to be light and pillowy inside while crispy on the outside. Start checking at the 15 minute mark.
You will need to shake the basket several times during cooking so that the gnocchi gets cooked properly.
If using frozen gnocchi, you may want to thaw it in the microwave before air frying for the best results.
