Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F.
While air fryer preheats, in a large bowl, add the olive oil and garlic powder and stir to combine. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and add to the bowl. Stir to coat.
Place the chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F, then flip and cook an additional 7 minutes.
In another bowl, add the soy sauce, honey, and juice from ½ a lime. Stir to combine.
Add wings to the bowl, and stir to coat. Return chicken wings to air fryer and cook an additional 3-5 minutes.
Plate and enjoy.
Notes
If you have full chicken wings, you will want to separate the drum from the wingette piece before cooking.
Watch the chicken wings carefully to make sure they don't burn. The honey will get dark and caramelized in the air fryer.
All air fryers cook differently. Adjust cooking times as needed.
