Air fryer miso cod is a delicious way to cook cod in the air fryer! The miso gives the cod a wonderful umami flavor that pairs perfectly with the flaky cod.

Instructions
Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Add miso, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil to a small bowl. Stir to combine.
Pat cod dry with paper towels. Spoon the miso glaze over the top of the cod.
Brush or spray oil onto the air fryer basket to prevent sticking.
Add cod to the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 380 degrees F.
Plate, and top with black sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Cook times will depend on the thickness of your cod. 10 minutes works well for most cod fillets, but if your piece of cod is thin, it may only take 7-8 minutes.
While white miso paste is used in this recipe, for bolder flavor you could swap it out for a different type of miso.
The recipe as written serves one, but can easily be doubled, tripled, or quadrupled if serving more.
