Roll the crescent roll dough out. Separate the triangles, and then cut each triangle into 3 long triangle strips to get a total of 24 triangles.
Preheat the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Pat little smokies dry and then roll into the crescent triangles starting at the wide end and rolling towards the point of the triangle.
Place the pigs in a blanket in the air fryer basket. (You will likely need to cook in 2 or 3 batches, depending on the size of your air fryer).
Cook for 5-6 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Notes
I have found that my pigs in a blanket will sometimes stick to my air fryer basket. So I prefer to use air fryer parchment paper or spray the basket before adding the pigs in a blanket to prevent sticking.
When adding the pigs in a blanket to the air fryer basket, make sure to leave a little room for the crescent dough to expand when cooking.
All air fryers cook differently. Watch carefully and adjust cooking times as needed.
While you can do an egg wash on the top of the crescent rolls, I have never found it to be necessary.
