Add the chicken tenders to a large bowl. Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Rub the seasonings into the chicken.
Measure out 2 cups of pretzels and crush until pretzels are in small pieces. This can be done with a ziplock bag and rolling pin, pulsing in the food processor, etc. After pretzels are crushed, add to a shallow bowl or plate.
Crack two eggs into a shallow bowl and whisk together.
Coat each chicken strip by dipping in the egg, then the pretzels. Lightly spray chicken with oil.
Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. Once preheated, either add air fryer parchment paper or brush air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.
Place chicken strips in the air fryer in a single layer (you may need to do multiple batched, depending on the size of your air fryer). Air fry at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time.
Serve with desired sauce and enjoy!
Notes
Cook times will depend on size of chicken tenders. I always recommend using a meat thermometer to see if chicken if cooked through to 165 degrees F.
Crush pretzels to a small size. This way they will stick to the chicken.
If you don't have chicken tenders, you can instead cut larger chicken breast into smaller pieces to make chicken tenders.
