Air fryer strawberry crisp is a delicious and easy summer dessert made in the air fryer. This recipe uses fresh strawberries for a delicious summer treat.
1cupstrawberriesdiced into bite-sized pieces (about 5 oz)
2Tablespoonssugar
1Tablespoonall purpose flour
1Tablespoonbutterunsalted
¼teaspoonvanilla extract
For the crisp topping
⅓cupoats
1Tablespoonbrown sugar
1Tablespoonflour
2Tablespoonsbutterunsalted, room temperature
Instructions
Wash and dry strawberries. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a medium bowl, melt butter. Add sugar, flour, butter, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Stir to combine, then add the strawberries and stir to coat.
Divide strawberries among two small ramekins and place in the air fryer. Cook for 7 minutes at 350 degrees.
While strawberries cook, make the crisp topping by combining oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter in a bowl. Mash together until butter is incorporated into the mixture.
After the strawberries have cooked, open the air fryer and add the crisp topping to the top of the strawberries. Cook at 350 degrees F for another 5-7 minutes until topping is golden brown.
Let cool slightly and enjoy!
Notes
All air fryers cook differently. Watch carefully to make sure your crisp topping does not burn.
Please note that the crisp topping uses room temperature butter, so plan to remove your butter from the refrigerator before making so butter can soften.
