4ozbrie wedgecan also use a small wheel of brie, see notes below
½cupcranberries
¼cupwalnutstoasted
1Tablespoonmaple syrup
½small orangezest and juice
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and let the brie sit out for 10 mintues.
Roughly chop cranberries and walnuts and add to a bowl. Add maple syrup and the zest and juice of half an orange. Stir to combine.
Place a piece of parchment paper in a baking dish (I used a cast iron skillet), and add the brie. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the top.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and serve as desired.
Notes
If using raw walnuts, toast in a skillet before using.
The cranberries don't cook for long in the oven, so they maintain their shape and texture. If you are wanting a softer cranberry topping, cook in a skillet first and then spoon over the baked brie after it comes out of the oven.
If cooking a whole wheel of baked brie instead of a wedge, cook for 15 minutes.
