Wash radishes and trim the tops and bottoms off. Cut each radish into quarters and place in a large bowl.
Add olive oil, sesame oil, miso paste, salt and pepper to the bowl. Stir until radishes are coated.
Spread out radishes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Roast for 18-25 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes. Poke radishes with a fork to make sure they are cooked through. If needed, continue cooking for an extra 5 minutes.
Plate, and top with black sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
The miso does get caramelized in the oven! Watch carefully to make sure it doesn't burn, but a little caramelization makes it taste delicious!
All ovens cook differently. Adjust cooking times as needed.
