Add the soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic powder, and juice from 1 lime to a shallow bowl. Stir to combine.
Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and remove any bones if needed. Add the salmon, skin side up to the marinade, and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat air fryer at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
Add salmon fillets, skin side down to the air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Notes
The cook time for your salmon may depend on how much you like it done. For softer salmon, cook for 8 minutes. For firmer salmon, cook for 10 minutes.
If you want, set aside a little of the marinade before adding the salmon. Use this as a sauce for the salmon that you can pour on the salmon in the last 2 minutes of cooking (or simply drizzle some on the salmon after cooking).
Top with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
