Heat up water to almost boiling, then add the sugar. Stir to completely dissolve the sugar. Add to Ninja Creami container.
Juice lemons and limes and add the lime and lemon juice to Ninja Creami container. Stir to combine.
Freeze for at least 18 hours on a level surfaces.
Remove from the freezer and process on the Sorbet setting. If needed, respin until sorbet reaches your desired consistency.
Notes
While I list the amount of lemon and limes I used, it will depend on the size of your lemons and limes. Make sure to measure out the appropriate amounts of juice.
When processing the lime sorbet, if your lime sorbet gets too soft, simply return to the freezer for 15-20 minutes to harden up.
If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess before enjoying again.
Let the sugar fully dissolve in hot water before adding the other ingredients. This will allow the sugar to mix fully into the sorbet.
For a fun treat, use the lime sorbet as a part in cocktails or mocktails. I love adding a few scoops to a glass and then adding sparkling water.
