Add cottage cheese, milk, sugar, and matcha powder to a blender. Blend to combine. Pour into Ninja Creami container
Slice the strawberries into rounds (you want them to be able to float at the top of the mixture). Add them to the Ninja Creami container, then press gently so that they are submerged in the liquid but still floating.
Freeze for at least 18-24 hours.
Process on the ice cream setting. You will likely need to add as splash of milk and respin. (I respun mine 2 times).
Scoop out and enjoy, or eat right out of the container!
Notes
Your ice cream may need a splash of milk and a couple of respins to get to the perfect creamy texture.
If your ice cream has a hump, scrape it off before processing.
Run a little warm water along the outside of your container for 30 seconds before processing.
If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess before enjoying again.
As with any recipe using cottage cheese, if you don't want it to have a tangy flavor, make sure your cottage cheese is fresh and choose a brand that doesn't make tangy cottage cheese.
