Ninja Creami strawberry matcha ice cream is easy to make with simple ingredients. If you love strawberry matcha, this is the recipe for you!

Ninja Creami strawberry matcha ice cream this recipe

I've made matcha ice cream so many times. I love it. But sometimes you want a little strawberry with your matcha. And this Ninja Creami strawberry matcha ice cream is so easy to make.

Even better? This is a protein strawberry matcha ice cream! The cottage cheese helps give the ice cream protein and delicious creaminess. The ice cream has a nice ombre effect after processing, and it's especially delicious when you get a scoop that includes the strawberry layer and the matcha.

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Matcha powder
  • Fresh strawberries (sliced)

How to make Ninja Creami strawberry matcha ice cream

Add cottage cheese, milk, sugar, and matcha powder to a blender. Blend to combine.

Matcha ice cream ingredients in blender

Pour into Ninja Creami container, then carefully add sliced strawberries to the top.

Adding sliced strawberries to unfrozen ice cream

Gently push them down so that they are still floating, but submerged in the matcha liquid.

Unfrozen strawberry matcha ice cream

Freeze for at least 24 hours. After freezing, if your ice cream has a hump (mine did), then thaw for 10 minutes and scrape off the hump.

Frozen strawberry matcha ice cream

Process on the ice cream setting. You will likely need to add as splash of milk and respin. (I respun mine 2 times).

Scoop out and enjoy, or eat right out of the container!

Recipe tips

  • Your ice cream may need a splash of milk and a couple of respins to get to the perfect creamy texture.
  • If your ice cream has a hump, scrape it off before processing.
  • Run a little warm water along the outside of your container for 30 seconds before processing.
  • If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess before enjoying again.
