3cupscubed watermelon, seedless(about ¼ a watermelon, depending on the size)
½lime
2Tablespoonssugar
Instructions
Remove the rind from the watermelon and then cut up the pink/red part to get 3 cups of watermelon cubes. Add to the blender.
Add juice from half a lime and sugar to the blender. Blend together. Pour into your Ninja Creami container to the fill line and freeze on a level surface for 16-24 hours.
Remove from the freezer and run warm water on the outside for 1-2 minutes to thaw the outer layer. Process on the SORBET setting. If needed, respin 1-2 times until it reaches your desired consistency.
Notes
Use a ripe, flavorful watermelon. The flavor of your watermelon will determine the flavor of your watermelon sorbet.
When you blend your ingredients together, if it doesn't equate 16 ounces (2 cups), you can add more watermelon cubes and reblend to get ot the 16 ounces.
If your watermelon sorbet has a hump in the middle after freezing, scrape it away with a spoon to level out the surface before processing.
If you have leftovers, smooth out the top of the sorbet and place back in the freezer. You will likely need to reprocess before enjoying again.
