Ninja Creami watermelon sorbet is an easy three ingredient recipe. It uses fresh watermelon for that perfect summer flavor.

Ninja Creami watermelon sorbet is a delicious summer treat. It's refreshing, and the perfect way to use summer watermelons. My son loves watermelons and sorbet, so this is one of his favorite summer treats.

There are a few tips I have to make sure you make the best watermelon sorbet in your Ninja Creami. First, get a seedless watermelon. This will make your life so much easier! (The white seeds are okay, but you don't want the black seeds).

Also, make sure your watermelon is ripe and flavorful! This sorbet is made mostly from watermelon, so if you have a watermelon that is bland, then your sorbet will be too. Taste your watermelon to make sure it's slightly sweet and full of flavor.

How to make Ninja Creami watermelon sorbet

Take ¼ a ripe watermelon. Remove the rind, and only use the red part.

Cutting watermelon

Cut up your watermelon into chunks and place in a blender. (You'll use about 3 cups cubed watermelon, depending on how big you cut the cubes). Add sugar and lime. (After blending everything together, you want to enough to equal about 2 cups (16oz) when blended. If you have less, add a couple more watermelon chunks and blend again).

Watermelon chunks

Pour into your Ninja Creami container to the MAX FILL line.

Freeze on a level surface for about 16-24 hours. Remove from freezer. If there is a hump, scrape it off so the surface is level.

Frozen Ninja Creami watermelon sorbet

Run warm or hot water along the outside of the Creami container for 1-2 minutes to thaw the very outside layer. Process on the Sorbet setting.

If crumbly, respin one or two times until you get the consistency you want. Enjoy!

Recipe tips

  • Use a ripe, flavorful watermelon. The flavor of your watermelon will determine the flavor of your watermelon sorbet.
  • When you blend your ingredients together, if it doesn't equate 16 ounces (2 cups), you can add more watermelon cubes and reblend to get ot the 16 ounces.
  • If your watermelon sorbet has a hump in the middle after freezing, scrape it away with a spoon to level out the surface before processing.
  • If you have leftovers, smooth out the top of the sorbet and place back in the freezer. You will likely need to reprocess before enjoying again.
