Ninja Creami banana ice cream this recipe

I love a good banana ice cream. This one is made with bananas and cottage cheese, making for a protein banana ice cream that is so delicious and easy to make in the Ninja Creami.

I added vanilla extract which was perfect, but if you want a chocolate version, add some cocoa powder instead! This Ninja Creami banana ice cream only has 5 ingredients and is the perfect use for ripe bananas to add that sweetness.

Ingredients

  • Ripe bananas
  • Cottage cheese
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla extract

How many times you respin is up to you depending on how soft you want your banana ice cream. You may only respin once or you may do it two or three times.

Topping ideas

  • I love topping with crushed graham crackers or cinnamon cookies.
  • My husband loves this banana ice cream topped with Magic Shell.
  • This would be delicious with some whipped cream and sprinkles.

Recipe tips

  • Run a little warm water along the outer edge for 30 seconds to thaw. You can also leave on the counter to thaw for 10-15 minutes before processing.
  • You will likely need to add a splash of milk and respin once or twice before enjoying.
  • If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You will likely need to reprocess or thaw before scooping out to enjoy again.
