Air fryer tandoori chicken is bright and so flavorful. The chicken gets marinated in yogurt and spices for perfectly juicy chicken.

I love recipes that are easy but full of flavor. This air fryer tandoori chicken checks all the boxes. Easy, flavorful, delicious. And it only uses 6 simple ingredients!
Now, I do use tandoori seasoning that I buy at the store. If you make your own, that would definitely add to the ingredient list. But I keep things simple with this recipe and use a premade seasoning.
I will sometimes enjoy the tandoori chicken over some rice, sometimes with naan bread, and sometimes on a salad. The flavor is just unreal and I've been loving it in so many ways! I hope you like it as much as me.
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts
- Greek yogurt
- Tandoori seasoning
- Olive oil
- Lime
- Salt
How to make air fryer tandoori chicken
Add the greek yogurt, tandoori seasoning, salt, olive oil, and juice from half a lime to a large bowl. Stir together to combine.
Cut chicken breast into pieces around 1.5 inches big. Add chicken cubes to the yogurt tandoori marinade, and stir until chicken is coated. Let marinade for 20-30 minutes.
Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. After preheating, add chicken to the air fryer in a single layer.
Cook for 12 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Plate and enjoy! I like to use the other half of the lime to squeeze over the top for extra brightness. You can serve with fresh herbs too.
Recipe tips
- If you prefer, you can put the chicken cubes on skewers and cook them in the air fryer that way. Make sure to soak the skewers in water for 20 minutes before adding the chicken so the skewers don't burn.
- Cook time may depend on the size you cut your chicken, so adjust if needed.
- This recipe serves two, but you can cut in half if serving one.
