Air fryer buffalo chicken bites make the perfect tasty snack! It's an easy version of air fried boneless chicken wings that are delicious to eat.
I love buffalo sauce. And buffalo chicken. It's spicy, acidic, and just so delicious.
While I love buffalo wings (and making these air fryer buffalo wings), sometimes I don't have chicken wings to make at home. And sometimes I just want something without bones. Something easier to eat. Something that cooks faster.
Enter these air fryer buffalo chicken bites. They're like a buffalo boneless wing, but bite sized and delicious. And can be ready in less than 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- Chicken breast, cut into 1 inch cubes
- Smoked paprika
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Cornstarch
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil (to spray)
- Buffalo wing sauce (either bottled or make your own)
How to make air fryer buffalo chicken bites
Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Pat chicken dry with paper towels and cut into 1 inch cubes. Place in a large bowl.
Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Toss together until chicken is coated.
Add cornstarch and toss to coat.
Spray air fryer basket with oil and add chicken bites in a single layer. Spray the top of the chicken bites with oil.
Air fry at 400 degrees F for 8 minutes.
Add buffalo sauce to a large bowl, and then toss the chicken bites in buffalo sauce.
Return to air fryer basket and cook an additional 3-4 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Plate and enjoy!

- You can double this recipe, but the chicken will likely need to be cooked in two batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- This recipe uses bottled wing sauce, but you can also make your own buffalo sauce it you prefer using Frank's Red Hot, melted butter, vinegar, and garlic powder.
Serving ideas
I love to just eat these on their own, they're so tasty! But they are also delicious served with a dipping sauce of ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, or some simple blue cheese crumbles.
How to customize
Want it spicier? Use a spicier buffalo sauce or add some ground cayenne pepper to give it more of a kick.
If you prefer, you can leave out the cornstarch and just use seasonings.
How to store leftovers
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To reheat, place back in the air fryer and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until warmed through and hot.

Instructions
