There are just SO many reasons to make air fryer chicken tenders. They are so easy. They cook up so quickly. And they are simple to customize.
I've been making a batch of these the last few weeks, and then I use them in salad bowls or pasta. My husband even added some to his ramen one day! So good and just such an easy recipe for air fryer chicken tenders with no breading.
Ingredients
- Chicken tenders
- Olive oil
- Paprika
- Dried oregano
- Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
Aimee's tips
- If you can't find chicken tenders, you can use chicken breast and cut it to chicken tender size. If you cut them slightly bigger though, they may need a longer cook time.
- The seasonings can be customized for whatever you like! Cook time should remain the same.
- I have not needed to flip, however if you notice that your air fryer is not getting one side browned, you can flip halfway through cooking.
- To reheat leftovers, pop back in the air fryer for 2 minutes.
- I love slicing the chicken tenders up and serving in salads or pasta. They are also great for meal prep!
How to make air fryer chicken tenders
Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. Add your chicken tenders and olive oil to a bowl and stir to coat chicken in oil.

Add seasonings to a bowl and mix to combine.

Add seasonings to the chicken and mix to coat.

Place in a single layer in the air fryer. (You may need to cook in batches).

Cook for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees F.
