I've been dreaming about making this pumpkin ice cream since last fall. Luckily, it's so easy to make. I grabbed a can of pumpkin puree and whipped this up.
This Ninja Creami pumpkin ice cream is a protein version thanks to the ricotta! It adds a wonderful creaminess to the ice cream. But this is one where the pumpkin is the star. Using real pumpkin puree gives the ice cream the perfect amount of pumpkin flavor and a beautiful light orange color.
Ingredients
- Ricotta
- Milk
- Pumpkin puree
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon
How to make Ninja Creami pumpkin ice cream
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into the Ninja Creami container and freeze on a level surface for at least 24 hours.
Remove from the freezer and process on the light ice cream setting.

If needed, add a splash of milk and respin. (You may need multiple respins)
