Ninja Creami banana date ice cream has no added sugars. The sweetness comes from the bananas and dates. It's perfectly sweet and comes out so creamy. I recommend topping with some chocolate sauce or even nuts for texture.

Ninja Creami banana date ice cream this recipe

This is the first Ninja Creami recipe I've made that doesn't use ANY sugar and is naturally sweetened with just fruit. In this Ninja Creami date ice cream, the sweetness comes from dates and bananas (both which are naturally sweet). No sugar or sweetener is added!

It's also a super easy Ninja Creami recipe since it's just 4 ingredients. Because of the banana and dates, the banana date ice cream also has the most amazing texture. The ice cream is delicious on its own, but is really tasty with toppings or mix-ins!

Ingredients

  • Dates
  • Milk
  • Ripe banana
  • Vanilla extract

How to make Ninja Creami banana date ice cream

Take your dates and remove the pits if needed. Place in a bowl.

Dates in a bowl

Warm up milk until hot and pour over the dates. Let sit for 5-10 minutes to soften dates.

Dates soaking in warm milk

Add banana, milk, dates, and vanilla extract to a blender.

Ice cream ingredients in a blender

Blend until smooth and pour into your Ninja Creami container.

Unfrozen date ice cream

Freeze for at least 18-24 hours on a level surface.

Date ice cream frozen in the pint

Run a little warm water along the outer edge of the container and process on the light ice cream setting. If needed, add a splash of milk and respin. Ice cream should be thick and creamy.

Recipe tips

  • Make sure your banana is ripe, as that will add to the natural sweetness of the ice cream. Unripe bananas won't make your ice cream as sweet.
  • If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer.
  • This would be delicious topped with chocolate sauce or using a mix-in of chopped chocolate pieces.
  • If you want your ice cream softer, add a little more milk and respin until you get to your desired texture.
