Ninja Creami orange creamsicle ice cream is easy to make with four simple ingredients. The creamsicle ice cream has the perfect amount of orange flavor and creaminess.
Have you ever had an orange creamsicle? It was a popular treat when I was a kid. Vanilla ice cream covered in an orange sorbet. It's also kind of like an Orange Julius Ninja Creami.
This Ninja Creami orange creamsicle captures the orange flavor and vanilla ice cream vibes. It's so easy to make with only four simple ingredients and doesn't use any protein powder or protein shakes.
Note: If you want to amp up the orange flavor, you can swap out the vanilla pudding mix for orange or add a few drops of orange extract. However, I typically just use orange juice and that's a good amount of orange flavor for me!
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese
- Orange juice
- Sugar
- Vanilla instant pudding mix
How to make an orange creamsicle Ninja Creami
Blend ingredients together and pour into Ninja Creami container.

Freeze for at least 18 hours on a level surface in your freezer.

Process on the light ice cream setting. Add a splash of orange juice and respin.

Enjoy!

Recipe tips
- Run a little warm water along the outer edge of your Creami container for 30 seconds before processing or leave out for 10 mintues. This will allow the very outer layer to thaw and get incorporated properly.
- If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess before enjoying again.
- If you want a little texture to your orange creamsicle ice cream, add some mandarin orange slices as a mix-in!
- The sweetness of this ice cream will depend on how sweet your orange juice is. The grocery store orange juice I get is not very sweet, so I add ¼ a cup sugar. If your orange juice is very sweet, you can reduce the amount of added sugar.
