Air fryer pita pizza is a quick and easy lunch or snack. Use your favorite toppings to customize with what you love.

Air fryer pita pizza is so easy to make. This is a quick way I can make pizza for myself or my kids in less than 10 minutes. I typically use small pita for this (about the size of my hand). This means I can make individual pizzas for each of us with our favorite toppings!
I've given the instructions for making a simple pita bread cheese pizza here, but I will sometimes do more toppings like sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, pepperoni, or roasted veggies. Since pita bread is thick, it can hold a fair amount of toppings!
Ingredients
- Pita bread
- Tomato sauce
- Dried oregano
- Mozzarella cheese
How to make air fryer pita pizza
Take your pita and spread tomato sauce onto it. Add oregano (and any other seasonings you want).
Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. I like to do this on a plate before I transfer to my air fryer, otherwise I get melted cheese stuck to my air fryer!
Place pita bread in your air fryer basket.
Air fry at 360 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Slice and enjoy!

- 1 pita
- 1 Tablespoon tomato sauce
- ⅛ teaspoon dried oregano
- ⅓ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Take the pita and spread tomato sauce over the surface. Sprinkle oregano on the pita. Top with the cheese.
- Place the pita bread in the air fryer and cook at 360 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and slice and enjoy.
