Air Fryer Turkey Cheese Crescent Rolls are so delicious as a lunch or appetizer. The crescent rolls get perfectly flaky in the air fryer and the cheese gets melty. An easy and delicious way to make an air fryer sandwich that feels so fancy.

It's no secret I love making recipes in my air fryer. And I just love how easy it is to make crescent rolls! I've made peanut butter chocolate versions, cinnamon sugar versions, and now this savory turkey and cheese air fryer sandwich.

It's just so delicious. The crescent rolls get so flaky and buttery. The cheese gets gooey and melty. And the turkey gets warm and delicious. Served with a honey mustard bbq sauce, and I'm in heaven.

Ingredients:

  • Crescent Rolls - Regular package of crescent rolls
  • Turkey slices - You could use turkey or ham deli slices for this
  • Cheese slices - Use the thin cheese slices for this! American cheese, cheddar cheese, gouda, etc.

What type of crescent rolls to use:

For the turkey cheese crescent rolls, I just use the original size of the 8 pack rolls.

Package of crescent rolls.

Customization ideas:

The crescent roll sandwiches are so easy to customize!

You can use whatever type of deli meat you prefer. Smoked turkey, regular, honey ham, mesquite flavored ham, applewood smoked, etc.

You can also use different slices of cheese! You could use slices of provolone, cheddar, American cheese, gouda, etc.

You could also make pepperoni pizza crescent rolls with mozzarella or provolone cheese with slices of pepperoni (and then serve with a marinara dipping sauce).

How to serve:

I really love to serve these with a honey mustard bbq sauce. I think it pairs so well with the turkey and cheese!

I also like to serve these alongside a salad like this Tuscan kale salad or some crispy battered french fries.

Recipe tips:

  • Don't roll the crescent rolls up too tightly. I like to give them room to expand while cooking.
  • Note that the crescent rolls will start to brown, however don't take them out until the 8-9 minute mark because they will likely not be cooked inside. (Of course, all air fryers cook differently, so make sure they are not getting too brown for your liking!
  • If you only want 4 of the turkey cheese crescent rolls, use half the package to make those, then the other half to make 4 of the air fryer cinnamon sugar croissants.

How to make:

Roll out your crescent sheets and separate into the triangles. Break up the slices of cheese and place on the end of the triangles. Roll up your turkey slices and add on top of the cheese.

Crescent roll triangles.

Loosely roll up towards the point of the triangle.

Repeat for all the crescent rolls.

Add to your air fryer basket, leaving room to puff up. That means my air fryer basket fits four at a time.

Cook at 330 degrees F for 8-9 minutes, let cool, then enjoy!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Air Fryer Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • 8 slices deli turkey
  • 4 slices deli cheese (½ a slice for each roll)

Instructions

  • Take your package of crescent rolls and open. Lay the crescent rolls out, and break apart along the lines into triangles.
  • Use ½ a slice of cheese for each roll. Break the cheese as needed to it's small enough to fit along the base of the triangle. Place a piece of deli meat on top.
  • Roll the triangle up towards the point, loosely.
  • Repeat with the other rolls.
  • Place rolls in the air fryer, leaving enough room for rolls to expand. (You will likely need to cook the rolls in 2-3 batches).
  • Cook the crescent rolls at 330 degrees F for 8-9 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Remove from the air fryer basket and let cool slightly, then serve as desired.

Notes

  • Don't roll the crescent rolls up too tightly. I like to give them room to expand while cooking.
