Air fryer corn on the cob is quick and easy to make. The corn gets perfectly roasted in the air fryer, no boiling needed!
I love corn when it is all roasted. It's my favorite way to eat it. Growing up, my mom would boil the corn, then I would stick my piece in the oven to get all brown and roasted.
But now luckily there are air fryers! And cooking corn on the cob in the air fryer means that you don't need to boil it in water at all. It gets roasted up perfectly in the air fryer and gets all golden.
And it's so quick! No waiting for water to boil. No waiting for an oven to preheat. The air fried corn cooks in less than 15 minutes. Easy and delicious, and fun to customize with different seasonings.
Ingredients
- Corn
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Butter
- Parsley or other fresh herbs (optional)
How to customize
The air fried corn on the cob can be customized with different seasonings and spices.
I used fresh parsley on mine, but you can use cilantro, thyme, chives, or even dried herbs if you prefer.
You can season with chili powder, smoked paprika, or even red pepper flakes for a bit of spice.
You can also top with cheese! Cotija cheese or some grated parmesan would be delicious on the air fried corn.
Also, this recipe makes corn on the cob that is a little more roasted in flavor and texture. If you're looking for a corn that isn't as roasted, try this air fryer corn on the cob in the husk. It steams rather than roasts.
