Air fryer zoodles are an easy side dish that cooks up so quickly. Use these delicious air fryer zucchini noodles as a side dish or as a pasta replacement!

air fryer zoodles this recipe

I love zucchini noodles. They are a great substitute for pasta, but also they taste AMAZING when you roast them for a little longer in the air fryer.

Some parts of the air fryer zoodles stay soft, while some parts get a little more roasted and brown. I love the combination of textures and flavors. They are delicious as a side dish, but also used as part of a main, served with chicken and parmesan. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Zoodles (spiralized zucchini noodles)
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Tips from Aimee

  • You can absolutely mix up the seasonings on this! Try smoked paprika, onion powder, or herbs de provence seasoning.
  • If you want regular zucchini noodles that are more like the soft sauteed version, only air fry for 10 minutes. If you want more roasted zoodles (which I personally prefer), air fry for 15 minutes.
  • These air fried zoodles are delicious as a side dish, but I love them with chicken and parmesan.

How to make air fryer zoodles

Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. Spiralize zucchini (if needed) and add to a bowl. Add olive oil and seasonings Stir to coat everything in oil and seasonings.

Add zoodles to your air fryer basket. Air fry for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to redistribute.

Plate and enjoy! I love mine with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces zucchini noodles (2 zucchini, spiralized)
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F/200 degrees C.
  • Add zucchini noodles to a bowl with oil and seasonings. Toss/stir to combine and coat zoodles in seasonings.
  • Add zucchini noodles to air fryer basket. Air fry at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 15 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes.
  • Plate and enjoy.

Notes

  • Even though this looks like a lot of zucchini noodles to start, they lose volume as they roast and the water cooks out. If serving two, double the recipe.
