Air fryer zucchini chips are delicious and easy to make! I top with parmesan cheese to give them a nice cheesy flavor. The air fryer parmesan zucchini chips are a tasty side dish to make.

It's zucchini season. And zucchini is easy and inexpensive to find at the grocery store. So I always grab at least 2 or 3 every time I go these days.

I love making these air fried parmesan zucchini chips. They get that perfect amount of flavor from the parmesan cheese.

My zucchini chips always cook a little unevenly, but I kinda like it that way. I think it has to do with how much oil gets sprayed onto the chips and also how thinly you cut the chips. If you want yours to cook a little more evenly, I recommend using a mandoline to slice them so each slice is the same level of thinness. And then also brushing them with olive oil yourself to make sure each gets the same amount.

But that's too much work for me, and I kinda like the variety of some being a little more crisp and some not being quite as much.

Ingredients

  • Zucchini
  • Parmesan cheese - Grated or shredded
  • Olive oil spray (or avocado oil spray)

How to make air fryer zucchini chips

Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. Slice up the zucchini into very thin circles. Ideally as thin as you can. I do this with a sharp knife.

Spray the air fryer basket with oil, then add the zucchini in a single layer (you will likely need to do this in two batches). Spray the tops of the zucchini with oil.

Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top. (If doing in two batches, you will just use half the cheese for the first batch, and half for the second batch).

Recipe tips

  • If cooking in batches, once the second batch is done, thrown the first batch in for a minute to reheat.
  • All air fryers cook differently. Cook times may depend on the thinness of zucchini, how much oil you sprayed onto your zucchini, and your air fryer.
  • Love parmesan? Double the amount!

I added a bit of garlic powder for extra seasoning and these were really tasty.
