Ninja Creami strawberry frozen yogurt is so easy to make with only three ingredients. This delicious treat uses fresh strawberries for maximum authentic strawberry flavor.
I need to tell you about this Ninja Creami strawberry frozen yogurt. It's so good. And it can be made in the Ninja Creami or Ninja Creami Deluxe!
My husband tried it and immediately declared it was the best Ninja Creami recipe I had come up with yet. His review was that the strawberry flavor was so pronounced. And that it was just the perfect combination of ingredients.
My kids like it too. And that's such a win in my book. Everyone in the family likes something? This recipe will be on repeat all summer long.
I also love that it only uses three ingredients. That I usually have in my house. So good. So easy. So delicious.
Ingredients
- Strawberries - You will need fresh strawberries for this recipe
- Sugar - Regular granulated sugar works best here
- Whole fat plain Greek yogurt - You will want full-fat Greek yogurt (5%). Fage 5% is my absolute favorite to use for this recipe
How to make Ninja Creami Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
Wash strawberries and remove stems. Thinly slice (or you can dice) them up and add them to your Creami container.
Add sugar.
Stir to combine the sugar and strawberries. Then let sit for 20-30 minutes until strawberries and sugar form a liquid at the bottom of container and sugar is mostly dissolved.
Mash up the strawberries with a fork (you could also puree with an immersion blender if you prefer). Add the Greek yogurt to the Creami container and stir to combine. Smooth out the top and freeze for at least 24 hours.
Remove from the freezer.
Process on the frozen yogurt setting. If strawberry frozen yogurt is powdery and not smooth, add a splash of milk and respin.
Frozen strawberry yogurt should be smooth and scoopable.
Yum! Scoop out and enjoy.
Recipe tips
- This recipe can serve 2-4 people, depending on how big the servings are.
- If using the Ninja Creami, spin on the Lite Ice Cream setting (you may need to respin 1-2 times). If using the Ninja Creami Deluxe, you can use the Frozen Yogurt setting.
- If your frozen yogurt is not creamy, add a splash of milk and respin.
- If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess when you want to enjoy again.
Topping ideas
Honestly, the strawberry frozen yogurt is delicious and flavorful just as is. However, if you want to add something extra, here are a few ideas.
- I love topping or serving with fresh strawberries to maximize the strawberry flavor.
- For a "chocolate covered strawberry" vibe, top with some chocolate ice cream, some chocolate shell, or use chocolate candy as a mix-in.
- Top with crushed graham crackers for a bit of a strawberry cheesecake vibe.
