Ninja Creami cherry limeade sorbet is a delicious sorbet version of the favorite summer drink. It tastes so much like the drink, and is so easy to make!
When I was in high school, my go-to treat was a cherry limeade slushie. The combination of cherry and lime was so refreshing on hot Texas summer days.
And now over 20 years later, I'm feeling that nostalgia and so I've been getting limes and cherries and turning them into a Ninja Creami cherry limeade sorbet. So delicious and reminds me exactly of those cherry limeades I used to get.
If you want, you can even take a couple of scoops of this and add to a sparkling drink! I've done that and it was perfectly fruit-forward and tart. Perfect for summer.
Ingredients
- Cherries
- Limes
- Sugar
- Water
How to make Ninja Creami cherry limeade sorbet
Dissolve the sugar in hot water, then add to the Ninja Creami container. Add lemon juice and lime juice. Pit cherries and add them to the Ninja Creami container. Stir to combine.

Freeze on a level surface for at least 18 hours.

Remove from the freezer and process on the sorbet setting.

If needed, respin, then scoop out and enjoy.

Recipe tips
- Note - while I mention I used 2.5 limes, the actual amount of limes will depend on the size of your limes and how much juice you get out of each. You will want ½ cup of juice.
- How many times you respin will depend on what you want the texture of your sorbet to be like. One respin was perfect for me. If your sorbet gets too soft, simply pop back in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer.
- The cherry limeade sorbet is also delicious when adding a couple of scoops to a glass and topping with sparkling water or even prosecco/sparkling wine.
