High protein Ninja Creami recipes are surprisingly easy to make, once you know some great options for adding protein to your Ninja Creami recipes.

Cottage cheese


I love using cottage cheese in my Ninja Creami recipes! It's inexpensive (for the most part), and adds a creamy texture! I always use full-fat cottage cheese.
If you decide to use cottage cheese, make sure to get a low-acid version or your recipes will taste a little more acidic and sour. That may not be a big deal with fruit-forward recipes if you're wanting cheesecake vibes, but if you're wanting a typical recipe, make sure your cottage cheese is fresh and from a brand that is low-acid.

Ricotta
Ricotta is another ingredient just like cottage cheese that adds protein and creaminess. You may opt for ricotta if you can't find a low-acid cottage chesee, because ricotta is a very mild cheese. I love this Ninja Creami lemon ricotta ice cream.
Greek yogurt
Greek yogurt is another way I love adding protein to Ninja Creami recipes! If you don't like the tanginess of Greek yogurt, you can use regular yogurt instead. Just note that for many recipes you'll want to use a plain, unsweetened yogurt so you can add your own sweeteners and control the sweetness.

Protein powder
Protein powder has a few benefits! It typically has stabilizers which can help the texture of your Ninja Creami recipes. You can also find flavored protein powders that can help you be really creative with your flavors!
Protein shakes
Same as protein powders, protein shakes usually have stabilizers and come in different flavors. They can be great to use in Ninja Creami recipes.
Bonus!
Use ingredients that are high-protein like peanut butter! That will add additional protein to your recipes, depending on what you're making. You can also use high-protein milks that will add extra protein to your Ninja Creami recipes.
