Ninja Creami chocolate frozen yogurt uses a few simple ingredients to make a delicious frozen yogurt. It's so good on its own, but you can add toppings or mix-ins to customize!

Ninja Creami chocolate frozen yogurt this recipe

I love a good frozen yogurt. And a chocolate frozen yogurt? Yum. This one is made with only a few simple ingredients and it comes out creamy and delicious. I kept going back for more bites, I didn't really want to share. But I did. Next time I'm making two pints. One for me, one for everyone else.

This is so tasty as is, but you can always add toppings or mix-ins. I think it would be really good with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Or some diced strawberries. The possibilities are endless.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt (plain, unsweetened)
  • Cocoa powder
  • Sugar
  • Milk
  • Vanilla extract

How to make Ninja Creami chocolate frozen yogurt

Add all the ingredients to your Ninja Creami container and stir until combined. No need to use a whisk or blender!

Freeze for at least 18 hours on a level surface in the freezer. Remove and run a little warm water along the outer edge. Process on the Light Ice Cream setting.

Recipe tips

  • Use plain, unsweetened yogurt. If you use regular yogurt, the chocolate flavor should shine through. If you use Greek yogurt that is a little more tangy, expect the tang to come through and it to taste a little cheesecake-ish.
  • I usually run a little warm water on the outside to the pint before processing. You can also leave out for 5-10 minutes to thaw slightly before processing.
  • If you have leftovers (I didn't lol), you can smooth out the top and return it to the freezer! You may need to thaw or reprocess before enjoying again.

Equipment

  • Ninja Creami

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups unsweetened, plain yogurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to your Ninja Creami container and stir to combine.
  • Freeze on a level surface for at least 18 hours.
  • Remove from the freezer and process on the light ice cream setting. If needed, respin.

Notes

  • Use plain, unsweetened yogurt. If you use regular yogurt, the chocolate flavor should shine through. If you use Greek yogurt that is a little more tangy, expect the tang to come through and it to taste a little cheesecake-ish (however Greek yogurt typically does have more protein).
