Ninja Creami lemon frozen yogurt is bright, creamy, and so refreshing. This is made with only a few simple ingredients, including fresh lemon zest and juice.
This Ninja Creami lemon frozen yogurt is so good. It's got a lot of lemon flavor from the zest and juice of lemons. It's creamy, it's bright, it's delicious.
I love this on its own, but my husband loves pairing it with other desserts like cake. Yum. Who am I to argue? Creamy lemon frozen yogurt and cake? Delicious.
The version I make is strong on the lemon flavor. In the recipe notes I have a suggestions if you want a lighter lemon flavor.
Ingredients
- Yogurt (plain, unsweetened)
- Milk
- Lemons
- Sugar
How to make Ninja Creami lemon frozen yogurt
Wash and zest two lemons, then squeeze the juice from the lemons to get ⅓ cup juice (see recipe notes).

Add yogurt, milk, sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the Ninja Creami pint.

Stir to combine.

Freeze on a level surface in the freezer for at least 18-24 hours.

Remove from the freezer and process on the Light Ice Cream setting. If needed, respin.

Enjoy!

Recipe tips
- If you've never zested a lemon before, you zest (remove) the yellow part of the peel with a microplane, leaving the white part on the lemon (as it's typically more bitter). The yellow part is the lemon zest.
- This recipe makes a very lemony frozen yogurt. If you're looking for something with more mild flavor, only use ¼ cup lemon juice and only the zest of 1 lemon instead of 2.
- I typically run a little warm water along the outer edge of my Creami pint for 30 seconds before processing to let the edge thaw a little.
- If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess or thaw before scooping out to enjoy again!
