Ninja Creami raspberry sorbet is so refreshing. It can be made with fresh or frozen raspberries, so you can make it any time of year!

Ninja Creami raspberry sorbet this recipe

When I go to an ice cream shop, if they have raspberry sorbet, I order it almost every time. I just love it so much. The tartness and brightness combined with the sweetness of sugar? It's so perfect.

When I told my husband that I hadn't made a raspberry sorbet in my Ninja Creami yet, he was shocked. So I decided to remedy that immediately. I grabbed a bag of frozen raspberries (less expensive than fresh), and made this raspberry sorbet. So good. Will definitely be on rotation for the rest of the summer.

If you like a smooth raspberry sorbet, definitely don't skip straining the mixture through a fine mesh strainer before freezing to get out most of the seeds! If you like a seedy sorbet, then feel free to skip that step! I've done it both ways, and I do prefer the smoother one personally.

Ingredients

  • Raspberries (frozen or fresh)
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Fresh lemon juice

How to make Ninja Creami raspberry sorbet

Heat water and add the sugar. Stir to dissolve. Then, add the raspberries, water, and lemon juice to a blender.

Raspberries and other ingredients in a blender

Blend until smooth. If desired, strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds and pour into your Ninja Creami container.

Unfrozen raspberry sorbet

Freeze for at least 18 hours on a level surface in your freezer.

Process on the sorbet setting. If needed, respin until it reaches your desired texture. Enjoy!

Recipe tips

  • I recommend straining the raspberry mixture after blending so you don't have a lot of seeds in your sorbet and get a smoother sorbet.
  • Before processing, I usually run a little warm water on the outer edge for 30 seconds.
  • If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess before enjoying again or leave on the counter for 10-15 minutes to thaw to make sorbet scoopable.
