Ninja Creami Golden Oreo ice cream is a protein Ninja Creami recipe that's so creamy and delicious. It's easy to make with just 5 ingredients.

Golden Oreo Ninja Creami with an Oreo topping it. this recipe

Cookies and cream ice cream was always one of my favorites as a kid. But it's so fun to mix it up with Golden Oreos when I want something that's similar... but different. One of my kids doesn't really like chocolate (crazy, right?), so she prefers this over regular cookies and cream!

This is a protein version since it has cottage cheese for extra creaminess and protein. It's easy to make this Golden Oreo ice cream using only five ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla
  • Golden Oreos

How to make Ninja Creami Golden Oreo ice cream

Add the cottage cheese, milk, sugar, and vanilla to your Ninja Creami container. Stir to combine. Freeze for at least 18 hours.

Then, remove from the freezer. Run a little warm water along the outer edge for 30 seconds.

Process on the light ice cream setting. If crumbly, add a splash of milk and respin.

Processed ice cream

Create a hole in the center and add in chopped Golden Oreos.

Adding Golden Oreos to ice cream

Use the mix-in setting to incorporate Oreos. Enjoy!

Recipe tips

  • If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to process again before enjoying.
  • Since this recipe uses cottage cheese for protein and creaminess, I use a low-acid cottage cheese that isn't tangy. This is important, or else your ice cream will have a tangy slight sourness.
