Air fryer Old Bay potatoes cook up in only 15 minutes for an easy side dish. These potatoes are flavored with Old Bay seasoning for a delicious taste that pairs well with seafood and chicken.
So I recently bought Old Bay seasoning for the second time in my life. The first time was probably 10 years ago. And I had forgotten what it tasted like. But now I'm like... I can't believe I have been missing these flavors all those years! It's so good.
I've been trying it out on so many dishes. Salmon, shrimp, and now potatoes. I decided to season up some potatoes with it and air fry them. The Old Bay seasoning adds just the right flavor to the potatoes without being overwhelming. So good.
I used yellow gold potatoes in this recipe. If you decide to use something like red potatoes or russets, just know that the cook time may be longer, so poke with a fork for doneness and adjust times accordingly!
Ingredients
- Baby gold potatoes
- Olive oil
- Old Bay seasoning
- Dried parsley
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)
- Lemon (optional)
How to make air fryer old bay potatoes
Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. Wash the potatoes and cut into cubes about 1.5 inches big. Add to a large bowl.
Add olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, and dried parsley.
Stir until combined.
Add to air fryer basket. Air fry for 15 minutes at 400 degrees F, shaking halfway through cook time.
Potatoes are done when nicely roasted on the outside and soft on the inside when poked with a fork.
Plate the potatoes! I like to add some more chopped parsley on top and serve with fresh lemons for brightness.
Recipe tips
- Pierce the potatoes with a fork to make sure they are soft and cooked through. If potatoes are too firm, cook for a couple of more minutes.
- I don't usually add salt to this recipe, as the Old Bay seasoning has celery salt. However, if you want your potatoes saltier, add salt to taste!
What to serve with the potatoes
I love these with some air fryer honey mustard salmon or air fryer panko chicken. The potatoes are also tasty with air fryer pork chop bites or air fryer chicken thighs.
