Ninja Creami passionfruit sorbet is a deliciously tart and tropical recipe. It's perfect when you want an easy sorbet recipe that is refreshing and delicious.
Passionfruit is kind of a big deal where I live in Portugal. You'll see passionfruit-flavored desserts everywhere. Passionfruit has such a tart, bright, tropical flavor. It makes such a perfect sorbet.
I balanced out the tart passionfruit with some orange juice and lime. It's perfect in those summer months. (You can also make a mocktail by scooping a few scoops of the passionfruit sorbet into a glass and adding sparkling water).
Ingredients
- Canned passionfruit pulp - (I used sweetened passionfruit pulp. If your pulp does not have added sweetners, see recipe notes).
- Orange juice
- Lime
- Sugar (or honey, agave, maple syrup)
How to make Ninja Creami passionfruit sorbet
Add passionfruit pulp to the Ninja Creami container.

Add sugar, orange juice, juice from ½ a lime, and stir together.

Freeze on a level surface in your freezer for at least 18 hours.

Remove from the freezer and run warm water along the outer edge for 30-60 seconds.

Process on the sorbet setting. If needed, add a splash of water or orange juice and respin. (I respun once without adding any additional liquid).

Enjoy!

You can always top with fresh passionfruit, if desired.

Recipe tips
- If you are using a passionfruit pulp that does not contain added sugars, use ¼ cup sweetener to add sweetness to the sorbet.
- This recipe uses orange juice to balance out the passionfruit. If you're looking for a really strong passionfruit flavor, use 1.5 cups passionfruit pulp and half cup of orange juice.
- If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer.
