Air Fryer buffalo cauliflower is so flavorful and delicious! The buffalo cauliflower has no breading and is so easy to make.

I love anything covered in buffalo sauce. And I love my air fryer. So I decided to marry the two and make these air fryer buffalo cauliflower bites.
These buffalo cauliflower make the perfect side dish or appetizer and as a bonus, they are low carb! They don't use a flour mixture and instead stay true to keeping it simple with just the buffalo sauce and cauliflower.
I love this air fryer buffalo cauliflower with no breading. It's so delicious and reminds me of the deliciousness of buffalo chicken wings, but made healthier with cauliflower!
Ingredients
- Head of Cauliflower
- Frank's Red Hot Sauce
- Melted butter
- Olive oil
- Garlic powder
- Smoked paprika
- Salt
How to make air fryer buffalo cauliflower
Chop up your cauliflower into florets.
In a large bowl, melt your butter. Add the hot sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and smoked paprika and stir to combine.
Add your cauliflower florets and stir so that the cauliflower is coated in the sauce.
Add cauliflower into a single layer in your air fryer basket. (Cook in batches if needed). Air fry for 9-12 minutes, or until tender, then enjoy!
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or in salads, wraps, or tacos.
How to serve
- In a salad or grain bowl (like this CAVA-inspired bowl)
- In tacos or a wrap
- As is, with blue cheese crumbles and/or green onions
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce (ideas below!) and some crispy celery sticks
Dipping sauce ideas
These buffalo cauliflower bites pair wonderfully with a creamy dressing like Ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, or blue cheese dip.
You could also go a little out of the box and serve with something like an apricot bbq sauce, a herby lemon cream sauce, or pineapple dipping sauce.
How to store
To store any leftovers, let cool, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days. To reheat, pop in the air fryer for a few minutes until heated through.
Recipe tips
- All air fryers cook differently, and cooking times may need to be slightly adapted based on your air fryer and also how large you cut your cauliflower florets.
- If you want your buffalo cauliflower a bit saucier, then make extra buffalo sauce and reserve for later. Heat up, then add your cooked cauliflower to the sauce for a final coating. Note- this will make your cauliflower spicer!
- Do not crowd the air fryer basket. You will most likely need to cook these in two batches if using a full head of cauliflower.

Tasted great. Loved the heat. Never crispy for me though.
