Ninja Creami lemon ice cream is delicious and so easy to make with only four ingredients. Top or mix in cookies to make it a lemon cookie ice cream!
There is just something about lemon in the summertime. It just tastes perfect and cools me right off. I knew I wanted to create a lemon ice cream in my Ninja Creami, and this one was so easy and delicious!
The lemon ice cream has the perfect amount of lemon flavor and tastes almost like a lemon cream pie. With the addition of cookies, it's like a Ninja Creami lemon cookie ice cream!
Ingredients
- Milk
- Heavy Cream
- Sugar
- Lemon instant pudding mix
How to make Ninja Creami lemon ice cream
Add all ingredients to a Ninja Creami container and stir or whisk to completely combine. (You can also do this in a separate bowl if easier and then pour into the Creami container).
Freeze for at least 24 hours.
Process on the ICE CREAM setting. This is what mine looked like right after processing.
And then this is what it looked like after I smoothed down with a spatula. Perfectly scoopable lemon ice cream! However, if your ice cream has a crumbly texture or is not scoopable and creamy at this point, add a splash of milk and respin.
You can either top with cookies or add them as a mix-in to make a Ninja Creami lemon cookie ice cream, or just enjoy as is without any mix-ins or toppings. All ways are delicious!
Recipe tips
- Don't worry if the lemon pudding mix isn't completely mixed in (as you can see in the photos above). You want most of it mixed in, but the rest will get mixed in as the Creami processes the ice cream.
- The ice cream has a nice creamy lemon flavor that I love. However, if you want a super vibrant lemon flavor, add ¼ teaspoon lemon extract to the ice cream base.
- If you have leftovers, simply smooth out the top and put back in the freezer. You may need to reprocesses before serving again (I did).
- This recipe will work in the Ninja Creami or Ninja Creami Deluxe. It makes 16 ounces liquid ice cream base.

- 1 cup milk
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons lemon pudding mix
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a Ninja Creami container and stir or whisk until combined.
- Place lid on the Ninja Creami container and freeze for at least 24 hours.
- Remove from freezer and process on ice cream setting. If needed, respin or add a splash of milk and respin (I did not need to do this).
