Ninja Creami pistachio ice cream is full of pistachio flavor. This recipe is easy to make in the Ninja Creami and requires almost no prep time. You can top with chopped pistachios for a nice crunch!
When I walk into a gelato shop, I'm always drawn to the pistachio flavor. There's just something about it. So when I got my Ninja Creami, I knew I needed to create a pistachio ice cream.
This one is so easy to make! It uses only a few simple ingredients, but gets it's pistachio flavor mostly from the pistachio instant pudding mix. The almond extract (you only need a tiny bit) adds just that perfect complement to the pistachio.
I like to top with chopped pistachios to really lean into the pistachio flavor, but it's also delicious with some amaretti cookies or even crumbled biscotti.
Ingredients
- Milk
- Heavy cream
- Pistachio instant pudding mix
- Sugar
- Almond extract
- Chopped pistachios (optional)
How to make Ninja Creami pistachio ice cream
Add all the ingredients to the Ninja Creami container and whisk together. If easier, you can also do in a separate bowl and then pour into the Ninja Creami container after whisking.
Place in the freezer and freeze for at least 24 hours.
Process on the ICE CREAM setting.
Ice cream should be scoopable, but if not, add a splash of milk and respin.
Scoop and serve as desired. I love serving with some chopped pistachios to really bring out the pistachio flavor.

- 1 cup milk
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons pistachio instant pudding mix
- ⅛ teaspoon almond extract
- chopped pistachios optional
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to Ninja Creami pint and whisk/mix together.
- Freeze for at least 24 hours.
- Remove from freezer and process on ice cream setting.
- Top with chopped pistachio if desired.
